Call for Papers

South Carolina MEA State Conference Poster Session, Charleston, SC

February 4-6, 2010

Deadline for Submissions Extended to December 1, 2009

The South Carolina Music Educators Association will sponsor a research poster session during the SCMEA State In-service Conference, February 4-6, 2009. The conference is held at the Charleston Area Convention Center, located approximately eight miles from historic Charleston. We are accepting submissions of completed and in-progress studies conducted by undergraduate and graduate students, college and university faculty, and practicing teachers in public or private schools. This poster session is open to papers involving any aspect of scholarly research in music, including those that are philosophical, theoretical, or historical in nature, as well as reports that are qualitative or quantitative in design.

Please submit the abstract and research report using MS Word (.doc) or Portable Document (.pdf) files, and on a separate title page, indicate contact information including name, title, affiliation (if applicable), mailing address, e-mail address, phone, and fax numbers. Please send the abstract with research report and separate title page as e-mail attachments no later than the extended deadline of December 1, 2009 to:
